EEEPC, PC Fair is Coming
November 27, 2007PayPerPost?.. anyone?
November 14, 2007did you noticed how ‘boom’ blog is in Malaysia? my reasons are
- we have no idea how to express our rights as Malaysian Citizen
- we fear of ISA
- get paid for blogging
- or, he/she’s just an ass.
you know people like mohdsuhaimy, x5mom, mohdismail etc, these people really do earn a lot from blogging. So I studied their mechanism of money making. (actually this was done years ago, just thought you might want to know)

- Google Adsense – it’s a no brainer. Anyone can copy and paste the script.
- TextAdslinks – similar to Google Adsense, but worthless! The requirement is very high e.g. your Google PR must be 5 and above.
- Nuffnang – young at heart (and age) these guys try to serve ads for local flavors. Aint that easy you know.
- Advertlets – Malaysia’s first ads serving for blog. But still, I don’t see anything good for bloggers. Also Nuffnang’s biggest barrier.

- PayPerPost – while making myself feel stupid, I get paid! LoL. I registered for an account because I wanted to test the system and “feel” the workflow. Also, like a cat, curious 😉
Sadly, blogosphere is frustrating by the day. new users sign up, writing about crap (just like me) and some for profiteering. The ones I follow are politics, gadgets and web technology.
The Customary
November 9, 2007every year, on my birthday, i will look back and muhasabah, what have i achieved? what do i have?
nothing.
nothing significant.
nothing to prove my worthiness.
somehow, i dont give a damn!
- i have great friends to feed my ego
- my family is supporting what im doing (indirectly)
- glad, God granted my “time-out” session
- grateful, that im still breathing and thinking.
to everyone who wished me, may God bless you with a worry-free life. amin.
to that special someone, thanks for giving me a live bullet for my birthday. i just wish i had a gun to shoot you. haha. the present is awesomely emo.

Facebook Make Web Developers Look Cheap
November 8, 2007- utilization of AJAX – dude, its 2002 technology. prada site is better.
- social networking – great application, but failed to attract my attention. put it this way, would you rather share your interest over the net or a mamak stall?
- for the ‘geeks’ – let me ask you, can you get laid over the net? hardly!
cool fact? nah, just another infestation.
and so Skali.net Lagi
November 6, 2007It will train you and give you a job in the Managed Portal Services (MPS) project, which involves the maintainance and upgrading of the 102 state government and 471 federal government websites.
Skali announced that it was awarded the six-year project, which is worth RM258mil, on Wednesday and has openings for 4,000 graduates in its training programme.
well, i was bummed to see Skali.net get the whole government sector. so lets do some math!
Per month Per department maintenance = 258mil /(102 + 471)(6*12) = RM 6253!
lets see what i can do with a RM6253,
- buy new IBM laptop or Apple Tablet
- umrah trip
- fly to london and bring 2 of my ‘ehem2’ friends
- pay 3 staffs salary
- hire hannah tan or stephanie chia for 2 hours
- register 100 enterprises at SSM
- 10 x Gen2 Monthly installment
- buy 62,530 bottles of asam taik hidung, war stock.
Graduates per site = 4,000/(102+471) = 6.9 person. being the 0.9, kesian, kene cincang.
Hence, RM6253/6.9=RM 906 = graduates salary.
Questions:
- is 4,000 graduates too much? how bout their workstations?
- RM906 for salary is enough? then forget about astro, car etc.. naik honda cup je.
- RM 6253 per month is a lot. I only charge 10k at most, that being one time, training and support for a year.
- will the government site still be hackable? or you still have to download PDF and Docs to browse their page?
- dont you think this is stupid?
i thought so too. spread the disease…
www.Kahwin2u.net – Goes Web2.0
October 24, 2007Part of my undying passion for web is Web2.0. What’s cool about it, is that webmaster do less work, users work more. in the old days, it’s the other way around. (programmers work more!)
anyway, somewhere mid of ramadhan, kahwin2u was hacked. i couldn’t trace who did this, but i’m pretty sure it affected the whole server. i couldn’t recover anything. it looked like scramble eggs thrown to the wall. *splat*
nothing really motivates me more than making a come back. so for the last 2-3 weeks or so (during raya), i started coding. i wanted it to be user oriented. the best way was to copy digg.com and stumbleupon.com. the coding alone took roughly 17 days and the design under 1 day. packed with AJAX and PHP, i think i can proudly say that this is my best work so far (in terms of coding).
so interesting comment:
- the website dont look like a wedding site – agree. i have balls. i do not have feminine taste.
- can i pay to be in your directory? – err.. im already giving you for free, just link you articles in the website. you still want to pay?
- i wish to advertise, so how? – it was released less than a day. no proven result that it’ll be successful. later2 i’ll call back.
- copy cat! – ok. so if someone has a blogspot, then a friend followed his footpath, is that copy cat too?
- can you sell me the whole idea including domain and intellectual property? – errr… i did not documented anything. everything is in my head. maybe in a year or two, ill sell.
- how come aaa i have to register? – because i dont want spammers on my site la dumb ass.
- got inbox, can link to gmail or yahoomail? – NO. thats your Private Message box.
- what is digg, del.icio.us and stumbleupon? – press CTRL+L, type google.com!
p/s: i am a year behind the world wide web. as for general malaysians, id say about 3 to 7 years. yikes!
i hate making forms!!!
October 8, 2007babi biawak anjing singe laut kapal api!*&^%$#@ oh deym..
damn i hate making CSS form. i spent close to 7 hours and all i can come up with is this. am i not talented or this thing is friggin hard! cheap ass betul. emo plak.

malaysiankini.tv
September 27, 2007all day yesterday i went thru malaysiakini.tv. build on ajax tech, i like. the speed and everything feels so right. if you have no time to read, i suggest you go over have a few bumps. you’ll love it.
this one particular video i like, about dr.m commenting on kj. “if you would like to see another pm like myself pushed gov to bankruptcy, then you should vote for kj” – dr.m. said something like that.
we cant be ignorant all the time. after all, our tok nenek fought hard to win back msia, so should we.
non-bumi wants to revoke NEP, i say we retract vernacular school. sounds fair? i thought so too.
facebook + myspace + friendster + youtube
September 26, 2007yes. it seems rather bloated. but i feel its something we malaysians dont have (or not doing well)
target audience – college students n professionals
objective – to connect everyone from the same school, uni, fac or company
idea – just another social community
problems – youtube is very slow in malaysia. myspace has lots of fake people. friendster isnt that exciting. facebook not so popular in malaysia.
marketing strategy – make handouts leaflet and pass around all the IPT in malaysia.
then? i dont have a good name. can you help me find a good domain name?
i was thinking of
alumni.my – too professional
babila – sounds like a haram site
deym kusut.
Whats the Fuzz About Gua.com.my?
